13 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1902: In case you don't see see them. GG and congrats on the wins in the F vs A games, and I think it is only a matter of time on the Duo. I suck at these variants or am missing something. I thought I would pick up a trick or two, but seems to go the same way every time. Oh well, still love playing.
13 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1902: Thanks - I saw your notes.

I think you are being rather tough on yourself here. Your France was literally another season away from breaking through and it would have been all over for me. You had me on the run early and I thought I was toast but guessed right a few times and got back into it. In the end it was a race of me trying to get the 18 before you broke through...which was inevitable. I got completely demolished by Goldfinger when he and I played and he gave me this advice when playing France: always move that Brest fleet north first (London, then Norway, then St. Pete.) - as tempting as it is to move to the Med, France has a tough road if it can't seal off Scandinavia.

Having said that, you of course came very close to winning anyway so perhaps what I just told you is noise. Look at our vDip ratings - we couldn't be more evenly matched. I had a slight edge in the other FvA game from the start that I was fortunate enough not to lose. If I hadn't snuck through in the Med, we'd still be playing.

The Duo is far from over and let's not mince words - you had a rather crucial misorder in the center that definitely set you back. That was purely bad luck. It happens, but your play is solid overall (at least to me) so nothing to be ashamed of.

Good luck in these GvI games - I typically suck at these so the odds are in your favor...
14 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1902: Thanks for that, I didn't expect that kind of kindness from a stranger. I truly appreciated that.
14 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Ouch - another misorder?
14 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1903: Did you have a mis-order or did you think I did? Mine was what U wanted, but let me know what you thought I did wrong, Autum 03
15 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Your Spring 03 move had Bohemia moving on Vienna...and Galicia supporting Trieste to Vienna (not Bohemia). No biggie - you are kicking my tail anyway...
15 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 1904: Oh, then that was a mis-order. Didn't go look at it because you had cut my support.
16 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Wow - I just got destroyed. Well played.
16 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 1905: Thank you, I should win this one. Have you updated the fourm about our scores?
16 Dec 12 UTC Well maybe if I can seal the deal.
16 Dec 12 UTC gg - well played
