21 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1903: yeah, I think I played both of these poorly :( |
21 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 1904: disagree - the other one may look bad, but you still are in a threatening position. Yeah I like where this one is going better, but you never know of course. I'm not counting anything yet. |
21 Jan 13 UTC | Spring, 1904: No, what I mean was I was uncharacteristically aggressive in the Balkans and then inevitably led to me losing a unit. Germany doesn't need the Balkans to win, so normally I don't engage in a battle in the balkans, I try to take Russia and France instead. |
21 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1904: Agreed...I think that is the way to go - but Germany needs to find a way to buffer from the Italian aggression first or else he can never get the room to set up the stalemate line. I guess what I am saying is that you can't just concede the Balkans (though perhaps what you are saying is to do some low-level Balkan resistance and the focus elsewhere once you have enough units...) |
21 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1904: that is exactly what I was saying. What I was suppose to do was support hold Vienna, not take Budapest. |
21 Jan 13 UTC | Autumn, 1904: dang, I should have movedto Livonia from Prussia, not Warsaw |
23 Jan 13 UTC | GameMaster: Germany voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |
