Thanks for the game, mates! I couldn't figure out why Germany didn't see and respond to support the Russian attacks on Norway which was the only real opportunity to push me back. My early détente with Italy was the key, and early recognition of his loss of Tunis against a Turkish advance gave me the impetus to jump in open the Mediterranean front. See you all down the road.

I think that you needed to respond to the fact that the game was winner-take-all, and at least gamble on those grounds.
