29 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Info: This is a choose your country game.
30 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Forgot to say this in the beginning of the game but... Good luck all! Have fun!
30 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Yes good luck to you all!
30 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1901: GL HF! ;)
07 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 1902: GameMaster: Burgundy voted for a Cancel. If everyone votes Cancel all points will be refunded and the game will be deleted from the database.
09 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 1902: Burgundy do you mind readying up?
09 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 1902: Hey, it's a tough choice figuring out where to retreat - depending on who I plan to suicide against. I've got to weight which person is the most annoying.
09 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 1902: Hopefully not me then o.O
13 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: GameMaster: Burgundy voted for a Extend. If 2/3 of the active players vote Extend the the current phase will be extend by 4 days. Please consider backing this. If the majority is not reached by "Autumn, 1903" the votes will be cleared.
17 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 1903: GG all
17 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 1903: yes it was. It was fun playing with you. Hope that things goes your way next time.
17 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 1903: I am, however, wondering that is it more likely that, in general, Ireland and Spain have a tendency of allying and then sandwiching Burgundy? Is more diplomatic efforts required on Burgundy's part than it's neighbours, or is it just my intuition?
17 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 1903: Ni I think you have a point.
17 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 1903: My first game with this variant. Can't comment with authority due to lack of experience, but An Ireland-Spain does seem very plausible given that they have a wall to their back to push from. Similar to a Juggernaut Alliance in Classic.
17 Oct 13 UTC Spring, 1903: One thing that makes them better than the Juggernaut is that they are, in some way, less prone to stabs as there is much more than a Black Sea between them.
18 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: as i had said to some of you already in private chats: it's a very interesting map strategically and diplomacy wise ... no nation has options to stab immediately in first year, and has room for expansion without clashes. also, alliances most of the time become visible before they can start being unstoppable.
also i think unlike the classic map, there are quite some potential "juggernauts" on this map possible, but if any of them is as effective as in classic we'll have to find out yet i guess. question is how the center nations can react on those ...

i like this map already :)
18 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: With more nations, there can be potentially a larger bulwark against the Juggernaut. But more nations also suggest more potential chaos for the Juggernaut to take advantage of.
18 Oct 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Yes, sadly for me, the nations around me didn't realize that also means that ganging up on one country produces only 1 or 2 cities for them and then they in turn will get swallowed. Since you and Spain have a united front against everyone else, you two will do very well.
04 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: GameMaster: Ukraine voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
11 Nov 13 UTC Autumn, 1907: Good game all! Sorry I didn't play a very big role. I kind of just pushed north and then stopped due to my "alliances" with basically everyone except Burgundy. I tried to hold out against Spain but there was no reason for my previous ally Israel to help me when he could profit much more from siding with my enemy. Don't worry Israel, I competently understand. Good game! I hope to play with all of you again sometime soon!
