14 Oct 13 UTC | Spring, 1901: (diatarn_iv): About the game name: "Nebbia in Valpadana" is italian for "Fog in the Po Valley", and is often used as a fancy way of saying "I don't have a clue". Good luck |

25 Nov 13 UTC | Great Game, humans. Thanks for playing. Apologies to France for the 'stab.' I was trying (obviously) for a sudden solo... but in the end, this was too fun to end like that. Thanks! |
25 Nov 13 UTC | At least I survived :D |
25 Nov 13 UTC | I cannot believe I lived after failing and letting you into Vie I thought I was dead |
25 Nov 13 UTC | Wow, close one! No problem with the stab, you've got to go for it if you have the chance. |
25 Nov 13 UTC | Thank you to France for finding a way for force the draw in a fog of war game without chat because as you can see it would have been hard to hold him if you had decided to attack me. |
25 Nov 13 UTC | I don't really know that I could have gotten the last SC's. France's slip up north was going to be hard to block... and Without help from someone beneath Austria, I wasn't going to be able to get past the line as it stands. I probably stabbed France one turn too soon. (For those who couldn't see the north of the map, France and I started supporting each other vaguely early on... until I broke it a couple of turns ago.) This was my first Foggy game... and I loved it. |
25 Nov 13 UTC | I had neverr played as Britain before in a FoW gunboat, it was quite a challenge to get people to not attack me. |
25 Nov 13 UTC | If you threw everything at Rum that would have gotten you the 1 sc you needed and then just shift forces north |
25 Nov 13 UTC | Yes, Austria... you are correct. |
25 Nov 13 UTC | but good game anyway all Italy Turkey congrats on those survives |
25 Nov 13 UTC | Wow, can't believe I survived. I don't have time (now) for looking at maps/writing an eog. But thanks everybody for the game |
26 Nov 13 UTC | Germany, I think your stab was as well-timed as it could have been. I had been expecting it, and though I could tell I had no clear way to stab you, I was going to start moving units to protect from your attack and otherwise watch for opportunity. Austria being non-aggressive with his fleet for so long, as well as the absence of anyone coming from the east and my knowledge that you had been at least poking around at Trieste or Vienna, made me think that you might be growing too big. I'd love to play another. Fog Gunboats are a favorite! In fact, there is one starting: gameID=16911 |
