15 Feb 14 UTC | Russia might have won the game, but he couldn't have done it without Germany's help. Germany for MVP! |
16 Feb 14 UTC | What are you talking about...? |
16 Feb 14 UTC | I admit I was attacking you and took your home sc's before Russia did, but you allowed him to take Berlin and Munich. Russia couldn't have soloed this turn if I still held those two sc's rather than him. |
17 Feb 14 UTC | That's nonsense... learn to lose, man. |
17 Feb 14 UTC | France, not very classy of you blaming Germany for the game outcome. This was a FoW Gunboat. The small power almost never knows which other power is about to win the game. You can’t blame Germany. You took the risk to try to solo this game, well, good. Taking this risk is not for free, since you must avoid that someone else wins before you do: around 1909 you had your Draw vote on together with G & I, then you had a good couple of years and you withdrew your draw vote, while you invariably continued your advance on Germany. Among my opponents, you’ve been the (main) responsible of the failure in stopping me. You had your gamble and you’ve lost it. Happens. It could be me in your place. I honestly doubted to win this game after fall 1911. Then some luck helped me and I won. If I had lost this particular game, I should’ve sent my apologies to Italy and Germany because of my greed. If you like to take risks (like I do), you must be ready to accept the consequences of a possible failure. |
