Obviously I had to deviate from the Baltic strategy, and the reason was because I knew the Italian blitz was coming.
But it'll be obvious to the French player by A02 (when the decision to go to Denmark [Baltic] or Norway [St. Petersburg] is to be made) whether Austria is conceding Germany or not. So the French player can play the appropriate counter. (I actually erred in not going to Nwy, but I didn't want to telegraph my intention.)
