04 Feb 14 UTC Spring, 1860: GameMaster: Please remember that negotiations before the game begins are not allowed.
04 Feb 14 UTC Spring, 1860: Info: This is a choose your country game.
04 Feb 14 UTC Spring, 1860: Welcome to the game, Union!

Thanks for playing, and I hope we both enjoy it.
04 Feb 14 UTC Spring, 1860: Thanks to you too.
04 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 1860: Any reason for 12 hour turns as opposed to 24?
04 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 1860: Just so that things keep moving fast. Sometimes when an opponent starts losing, he slows the game down, possibly out of frustration, or perhaps in the hope that I'll lose interest. Then 24 hour periods are tedious. If I'm losing and I want to stop playing, I'll concede.
04 Feb 14 UTC Spring, 1861: That's cool. I need to runnan errand and will back as soon as I can. Will try to play on my phone,
04 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 1861: Sorry about this taking so long. Not sure what is wrong but ny phone won't let me enter orders. Itsis really weird.
05 Feb 14 UTC GameMaster: Union voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
05 Feb 14 UTC you win. i need to get running. want to try another one with sides flipped?
05 Feb 14 UTC Thank you. I used to think the Confederacy has an advantage, but you played Union so well, that I've changed my mind. That fleet of yours (starting in Ohio) did great work.

I agree that I'm the favourite to win at this stage, although I was close to conceeding a few turns back.

I'd love to play as Union against you. I'll set up a password-protected game and invite you by PM.
