Spring, 1901: Alright so let me know if you see this |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Autumn, 1901: Hey whole world. |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Autumn, 1901: So this goes to everyone? |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Autumn, 1901: You can only build units at your original home centers. |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Autumn, 1901: YOu can build fleets OR armies. |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Autumn, 1902: so, in the real multi player game, you will be planning these moves out and it will take at least a day between each turn. |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Autumn, 1902: Why does it take a day? Because players aren't logged on, or is that time built into the game? |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Autumn, 1902: Because people are talking to each other and everyone logs in whenever throughout the day, or sometimes it takes up to three days. You set how ever long you want the turns to take when you make the game. We could have made this a ten minute per turn game if we had wanted. |

Autumn, 1902: You'll ask "support me into sweden?" and five hours later you'll get, "yeah, sure." |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Spring, 1903: But you only send messages through the game, correct? |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Spring, 1903: Yes, unless you know the people personally. I play with alot of people I know, so sometimes we talk on phone or facebook. Those games have to be private password protected games, that way everyone knows you know each other. You are not supposed to play open public games with people you know in real life, it is an unfair advantage. |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Autumn, 1903: So did we both move for Silesia? |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Autumn, 1903: See what happened in Silesia? That is called a bump, we attacked with equal forces. |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Autumn, 1903: And see Aegean? I messed up and moved two units to the same place, so I bumped myself. |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Autumn, 1903: Also, if you want to see past moves, you can hit the little rewind button below the map. |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Autumn, 1903: So, it's not the first to get there in a case like that. Would it go to the army with the most support? |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Autumn, 1903: exactly. |
15 Jul 15 UTC |
Autumn, 1903: So, the winning condition for THIS map is to get 18 supply centers. In real games, that is what is known as a solo. Sometimes players end the game in a draw when they stalemate. In draws, everyone left still alive shares in the victory. |
