21 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1870: Is anyone interested in an alliance? Turkey? Russia? China? Japan, France, and Holland all finalized without any comments, which makes me wonder if they are communicating outside of the game. |
21 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1870: no, we are all just ganging up on you! |
21 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1870: Japan is waiting to see what other offers are made. Finalised moves can be unfinalised as long as one nation is unfinalised. If Russia or China wish to ally with Japan, then she is happy to discuss matters. Similarly with the Colonial powers. However, Japan is also winning to defer discussion until after the initial move should others prefer that. |
22 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1870: China is willing to hand over Korea to Russia in exchange for a NAP. |
22 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1870: China, how about an alliance? |
22 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1870: England, I am interested in an alliance if still available, possible against Turkey. |
22 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1870: Japan is willing to ally with any mainland power (China, France, Turkey, Russia or Great Britain). Japan offers support in coastal areas in return for recognition of Japanese suzereinty over the Marine territories (including Sakhalin and Ceylon but excluding Hong Kong) |
22 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1870: Russia, yes, I definitely would like an alliance. I think working against Turkey is a good idea, there are a lot of open centers to our west. China offered you a NAP. If China will join our alliance, I think we can be very strong. |
22 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1870: China, how about we agree to a border at Kashmir/Kashgar, and we can work together to divide the open centers of Assam, Upper Burma, Mandalay, and Rangoon? |
22 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1870: Impressive word you've got there Japan. had to look it up :) Can we all agree to stay out of the Yellow Sea? |
22 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1870: If we also agree to stay out of the Sea of Japan, yes. Russia really does best as a land power. |
22 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1870: Surely, Britain, it would be fairer if you offered to include Bengal in the centres you would divide with China |
22 Jun 11 UTC | Spring, 1870: I am sure China and I can agree to a fair division of centers if he is interested in an alliance. |
23 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 1870: Gladly. I'll take Ass in my division for now. Anything else can be left for the future. |
23 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 1870: Thanks China, sounds good to me. |
23 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 1870: Interesting. The game seems strongly unbalanced in favour of Britain and to a lesser extent, Russia if Turkey fails to move. |
23 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 1870: Yes Britain, France and Japan are the strongest countries in this game. |
23 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 1870: I thought that was disinformation but I just checked the stats. In terms of solo wins, Britain and China are strongest, but France and Japan have been in a lot of draws, which has raised their performance a lot. Britain, of course, is way ahead by any measure. |
23 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 1870: Perhaps Turkey often drops out. (Maybe because they join in the hope of being Britain). |
23 Jun 11 UTC | Autumn, 1870: Thanks China for the cooperation. |
