21 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 480 BC.: GameMaster: Please remember that negotiations before the game begins are not allowed.
23 Nov 15 UTC Spring, 480 BC.: Info: This is a choose your country game.
19 Dec 15 UTC Autumn, 477 BC.: Woot! Not the first one dead!
21 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 476 BC.: GameMaster: Attica voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
21 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 476 BC.: Elia and Messenia appear to be gone. We should draw.
21 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 476 BC.: I agree. We should all draw. ;)
21 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 476 BC.: GameMaster: Red Fleet Admiral has taken over Elia replacing "Super2spooky4me". Reconsider your alliances.
21 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 476 BC.: Elia not gone - just replaced. And agree about Messenia... he started well, but has obviously lost interest and that's annoying. But draw? I think not - sorry :-)
21 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 476 BC.: can we extend, Christmas and all that.
21 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 476 BC.: GameMaster: Elia voted for a Extend. If 2/3 of the active players vote Extend the the current phase will be extend by 4 days. Please consider backing this. If the majority is not reached by "Spring, 475 BC." the votes will be cleared.
21 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 476 BC.: Could we wait a phase?
21 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 476 BC.: Seriously, this is your very first phase in an established game and you want to make us all wait 4 more days? If you couldn't make the time to play on the same schedule as the existing players, why join?
21 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 476 BC.: Actually, I'd argue that those exact reasons are why he *should* ask for an extend even without Christmas around the corner. He's walking into a game as a big power with big enemies. Asking for time to sort out who is on who's side and renegotiate alliances is perfectly reasonable.
21 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 476 BC.: Well that's a reasonable argument, I agree. I just find this game moves grindingly slow enough as it is.
21 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 476 BC.: If we extend now, it will process the Saturday after Christmas. If we extend after this phase, it will process on Tuesday and then the Monday after Christmas. I'll put in an extend vote when this phase is done--it seems more useful to have nothing process next weekend
22 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 476 BC.: alright then.

next phase it is.
23 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 476 BC.: very well, gentlemen,

I know what to do and where to go.
23 Dec 15 UTC Autumn, 476 BC.: GameMaster: Per 2/3 majority vote the gamephase got extended by 4 days.
(Voters: Aetolia / Elia / Attica / Boeotia)
23 Dec 15 UTC Autumn, 476 BC.: Sorry Elia, nothing personal, but plans have been in place for some time.
23 Dec 15 UTC Autumn, 476 BC.: well, S'okay, it only strengthens resolve, and the incredibly precious thing called hatred.
