24 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 1097: Should we extend the phase for Xmas?
24 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 1097: GameMaster: Holy Roman Empire voted for a Extend. If 2/3 of the active players vote Extend the the current phase will be extend by 4 days. Please consider backing this. If the majority is not reached by "Spring, 1098" the votes will be cleared.
26 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 1098: GameMaster: Extend-request didn't reach 2/3 majority. All extend-votes cleared.
27 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 1098: GameMaster: Byzantine Empire voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
27 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 1098: GameMaster: Byzantine Empire voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
27 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 1098: a lil early to be throwing in the towel bud
27 Dec 15 UTC Spring, 1098: He never bothered to play more than the first turn or two... throwing the game out of balance, and now want to can it altogether. Great work there by that guy.
01 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1099: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Seljuk Turks replacing "Ravendjinn". Reconsider your alliances.
01 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1099: Hello, friends.
06 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1100: this game is pretty much dead, byzantine has basically determined the winners by not playing plus france gave up as soon as byzantine did that, it'd be nice if we could just draw this game and be over now
06 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1100: if you insist on drawing the game out, can you please ready your orders instead of waiting 24 hours between each turn
06 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1100: I'm relatively new to this site, but in the games I've played so far, it seems there is always one player that is inactive each time. I agree this is far from ideal and can be good or bad luck for others. But in your case, HRE, your diplomacy hasn't been effective and you're being attacked on all sides - so its no wonder you'd like a draw.
06 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1100: I've been playing for a few years and in most of my games(at least that involves like 5-7 people) people do not typically just do nothing the whole game, maybe they forget a turn? Sure, but just stop talking to everyone past turn 2 and just hit ready like Byzantine has without making any moves? No, that does not happen. If people go NMR they're usually replaced by an active player after a turn or two. This is not normal. And yes, my diplomacy game was weak, hats off to you England, you played me and France well. But then Byzantine stopped doing anything, literally, and then France gave up all his SCs to you to quit the game. Either way, can we at the very least hurry the game along please?
06 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1100: Fair enough HRE, and I agree that this game does go really slowly...
09 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1101: So wait, is HRE throwing the game after a having a hissy fit over other people throwing the game? Nice.
09 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1101: I can't throw a game that was already thrown
09 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1101: Thats bollocks. Adapt to the situation and do yourbest under the circumstances. You know, just like in real life.
09 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1101: I am adapting, I'm merging with my neighbors
10 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1101: Ah well, that's fair enough then. A Europe that all speaks English and Spanish from now will be less likely to all go to world wars in umm... 800+ years.
10 Jan 16 UTC Autumn, 1101: the Roman Empire is supposed to fall anyway
