Tried to get Germany to finish Britain with a smaller draw, seems he didn't get it. Oh well. My initial strategy was to quickly push both east to Russia and west through the Gibraltar, since France had occupied Gibraltar I could take it without immediately alienate Britain.

Didn't get it? Lol. You needed to back off further and turn over a couple centers while maintaining your stalemate lines in order to establish the safety of Britain's elimination. Why would I risk you earning four points on the chance of me earning one extra? If you wanted the extra point, you had some work to do.
