okay so the "DropDown-OrderInterface" is a MUST for this map. it looks like the "land" and "sea" units don't matter in this variant. my "sea" units can move two spaces, and my "land" units can only move one. hm.

7 October 1571, half an hour after the start of the battle: Haha yes. I figured it out (read the description). This is build-anywhere diplomacy. The spaces with the extra hexagons are SC's. The ships that can move two (frigates) can't take SC's. The ships that can move one (galleys) are the kind of ships that you build during a build-phase. If either of us loses a flagship (the ones that can't move) then he loses.
