02 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: Austria voted for a Cancel. If everyone votes Cancel all points will be refunded and the game will be deleted from the database.
08 Apr 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: Italy voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
13 May 16 UTC Spring, 1916: GameMaster: Turkey voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
29 May 16 UTC Spring, 1924: GameMaster: Turkey voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
31 May 16 UTC 'grats tantrum. Nice to see the 3 Central powers as the last ones standing, doesn't happen often!
31 May 16 UTC Well played Austria. I thought I had the game just before your attack on Tri. I thought you'd want to eliminate Turkey first and therefore I'd have one more move to overrun Germany, but your move was perfectly timed indeed. Well played.
31 May 16 UTC And nice defending C-o-T. I thought destoying those two units of yours would win me the game, but in retrospect I think it won Austria the game!
31 May 16 UTC Thanks d-ice. Yes, I think that turned the game in Austria's favor, but in a Fog game it's hard to know which way the wind is blowing. We finally started cooperating but it was too late by then. I had my low countries units in the wrong places (needed armies there & fleets in Scandinavia) & that made it impossible to contest my home dots.
31 May 16 UTC Thanks all for the game. It was quite a slog. It started bad, because neither Turkey nor Russia moved to Black Sea in 1901, which I have never seen before in a gunboat game. Luckily Italy helped me on countless occasions to fend Turkey off.
31 May 16 UTC I would have been quite happy continuing the arrangement with Italy, but I could see that England and France were both eliminated and that Italy had at least 1 German home centre, so although I dearly wanted to squash Turkey, as D-Ice guessed, I figured the game would be over if I didn't move quick. Lucky I did now that I look at it, as Italy was up to 14.
31 May 16 UTC D-ice, you played really well around Venice/Ionian etc. I was just lucky you were under so much pressure from Germany in the north and I could nab the German centres.
01 Jun 16 UTC Hey, congrats CoT. :-) Well played. Bet you were happy when I finally guessed wrong...

d-ice - I was kind of hoping you'd stab Austria at some point, and tried to make opportunities for you to do so... I gave up eventually. :-) Ah well.

Joe1966 - despite the juggernaut-ish opening we never really managed to get on the same page. But then, that's one of the problems with Fleet Rum - it actually makes it hard to attack Austria. :-/
01 Jun 16 UTC Well, the only reason I got you out of StP was with Austria's help....I'd like to ask that question now....Austria, why did you support me into StP against Turkey (not that I'm complaining...)?
01 Jun 16 UTC @CoT: At the time I owned all of your home supply centres, so I knew you wouldn't be able to build with an extra centre, but if Turkey went down 1 centre, it was useful for me. So, I thought I would give it a try and it worked. At the time, Turkey was overall being more of a nuisance than you were. :-)
01 Jun 16 UTC Oops, I congratulated the wrong player. That was meant to be congrats tantrumizer. :-)

@CoT - Ah yes. I was actually hoping whoever was on the smaller SC count between you and Austria would end up supporting me to stay *in* StP and hold the stalemate line. Obviously that didn't happen. :-)
01 Jun 16 UTC I was looking at the map trying to see where you and Germany had had much of a guessing game going, and I was stumped. :-) But yes, we had quite a battle and I was relieved when you were finally down to 1 centre...
