17 Apr 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: What's with the gray? |
17 Apr 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: Neutral armies |
17 Apr 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: When dislodged they disappear |
17 Apr 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: You can support hold them |
17 Apr 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: Another novelty of this map, apparently there's some way to convert ships to armies and vice versa while they are on coastal SCs, let me know if you figure out how to do that. |
17 Apr 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: Oh, it's in the drop down list. |
17 Apr 16 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Shoot. I screwed up |
17 Apr 16 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Oh well |
18 Apr 16 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Not me, every one of my moves has been perfect. |
18 Apr 16 UTC | Autumn, 1903: I knew it. |
18 Apr 16 UTC | Autumn, 1903: It does seem like you're doing better than me here. You will probably win |
18 Apr 16 UTC | Spring, 1904: That's the spirit! |
19 Apr 16 UTC | Spring, 1904: You are a Turkey. |
19 Apr 16 UTC | Spring, 1904: Yes, and you are germany, and scott is italy and jason is russia and michael is france and cortland is austria and beth is england. I realize the entire thing is solvable now. |
19 Apr 16 UTC | Autumn, 1904: I meant figuratively. But yes you're also Turkey. I ignored everyone else I was just interested in who you are, that's all that matters |
19 Apr 16 UTC | Autumn, 1904: You are so romantic sometimes |
19 Apr 16 UTC | Autumn, 1904: I only have eyes for Brown |
20 Apr 16 UTC | Spring, 1905: So what's your take on this map, and do you think you're winning? |
20 Apr 16 UTC | Spring, 1905: Most the time, you are winning, no matter what we are doing. I find that when you say things like, "Oh no, I appear to be doing worse than you", it usually means we are somewhat even. Yes, I seem to have a few more units, but I'm sure you will find a way to turn the board to your tactical advantage. As I have said many times before, you can see things I can't. You probably can look at the board and see where things are going. I don't see it. Sometimes I see it when I'm playing lesser beings, but when I play you, the fear is too strong and it turns off part of my critical faculty. |
20 Apr 16 UTC | Spring, 1905: I've heard the top chess player in the world tends to get a boost just because he's the top player in the world and people choke when playing him. That's probably why Magness Carlsen has the highest rating ever, not that He's the best there ever was. I bet Fischer was better. Anyway I hope nobody else in the tournament has that problem |
