06 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1873: new Britain here, I'll try my best with the situatiom
17 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1875: Now THAT, went well
17 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1875: I'm away for a few days, coming back Sunday. Could we pause please?
17 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1875: yes, fine by me
19 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1875: France and Turkey, we need pauses for Japan please.
19 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1875: i will pause because my ally says, but i tell you thats a common cheat, that people dont come back and the whole rest stands for months!!! waiting unpause, until an admin unpauses
19 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1875: We can get our unpauses in such that, come Monday, if the game's not yet unpaused (disappearing Japan), I'll just PM an admin.
21 Aug 11 UTC Autumn, 1875: Refusing pauses on the grounds of "that's a common cheat", is considered metagaming and is most definitely cheating. I'm back now and I shall cancel my pause vote..
21 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1876: Regardless, France completely disappeared, we wouldn't have been able to pause anyway :-/
22 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1876: draw the damn thing, it's a mess
22 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1876: @Russia, that's true. He's back now though.
@ Britain I've seen worse
23 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1876: why do you consider it cheating? it happens so much to me, that people pause, just to disappear. asking for a pause, seems to me more cheating. everyone decide to play this form, this deadline, has RL things, and i lose a lot of turns in games about RL, but Iam never crying about, just a game
23 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1876: Because to use the pause or not use the pause for in-game reasons is metagaming according to our hosts. To me it is a matter of honour.
24 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1876: I also dont like to play, when enemy nmr. there is no fun. but how i have to understand this, sorry: to use or not to use pause is cheating?! so there is a little bit true of what i said, or nobody had the experience, that nations close to lose, want a pause and never come back?! its ma miss of respect, you can fix it with admin, but i never would disturb an admin with a thing like this (anyway it takes a time too). On the other hand, if someone wants a pause, i dont use to give it, but i dont take advantage of the situation, you may just hold or attack another, this is m y honour definition.
24 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1876: I agree with Japan, using pause for anything other than a real out of game reason is metagaming, couldn't be clearer
24 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1876: and again, no disrespect to Russia here, but this game is a cluster fuck, draw it
24 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1876: You're the only one who's asked for a draw as far as I can see...
24 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1876: well, France has, but he is a big part of the problem .... doesn't mean that this game isn't fucked up, I think you know it is
24 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1876: I don't really get how it is. I've been allied with Turkey and Japan since day 1 and the board reflects that.
24 Aug 11 UTC Spring, 1876: and your success is reflected by the defaults of Holland and France, and more especially the default of the original Britain that I then came in for to try to salvage this abortion of a game
