17 Jul 17 UTC | Good game, I thought you might go for a Berlin overtake and prepared for that (although the move to Warsaw instead of Silesia would've been better). Seems like preventing Marseilles builds is pretty effective. |
17 Jul 17 UTC | Well played ;-) First time out of 4 games that I've lost as France (normally having more difficulty playing austria). I was too late with moving that unit in Marseillles and also should've played a much better strategic game around Munich. Nice one ;-) |
17 Jul 17 UTC | And you wrecked my vdip rating. this game cost me 607 points hahah |
17 Jul 17 UTC | Yeah, even winning was quite expensive, cost me 184 points. Interesting though what you said about starting with France, I feel like if you manage to grab any German SCs as Austria, it's gonna be very tough to lose after that. |
17 Jul 17 UTC | Yeah, Berlin and Munich is so easy to stalemate. My mistake was that this time I closely studied some of the other previous games played on this website. I was too blindly following that structure of play, whilst I normally rely mostly on my own judgment call. (and that always worked out playing France). Next time i'm going to have to trust my senses again. |
