15 Dec 17 UTC | Good win Shah... I just didn't have the armies to hold the line. Too many useless fleets. But my early conflicts brought about that situation. Thank you mouse and d-ice for recognizing the danger and pulling together. There just wasn't a way to fill the weakness in the middle once he gained Tyrol. I made a bad guess about guarding WAR this round. But the writing was on the wall already. |
15 Dec 17 UTC | Thanks, good game all. Huge thank you to Leif for letting me off the hook in 1913. Not the best way to repay that kindness but I saw a chance and took it. |
15 Dec 17 UTC | Well played Shah. Too bad we couldn't stop you. In retrospect I should probably have went a lot sooner for the elimination of the Hessia fleet to build an army to convoy to the continent. Wasn't sure that Samj would interpret such a move correctly though, so I dared not .... The fleets in Hague and Brussels were kind of useless too - so in retrospect I guess another alternative could have been to surrender those to Poland. Ah well... grats Shah. |
16 Dec 17 UTC | I am kicking myself for letting you off the hook Shah. When you pulled back I took the opportunity and neutered Doc (apologies there Doc) expecting you and I would both drive north and then you turned around and drove hard through the gap I left. Well played. |
