15 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Bluemaster250): i know how to play diplomacy, but not the online version.. |
15 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Avocado): This game will start when we get enough people to join. The online version is the same as the board game but it’s just a weird interface. When you see a little mail symbol, that means someone sent you a message. Also when doing your moves, I’d suggest using interactive |
16 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Bluemaster250): Thank You, You will get to know what country you are in when the game starts (ten people) |
16 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Avocado): Yup |
16 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Brianthethompson): If you’ve gone through the pain of playing Dip irl you’ll have no problems with VDip, it takes all of the hassle out |
16 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Avocado): Some of it even though the board game can just be slightly more fun (depending how social you are) |
16 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Brianthethompson): Imo the board game just takes too long, I like Vdip a lot more because of the spread. To get through a full game of Dip you need at least 4-5 hours |
16 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Avocado): To each their own |
16 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Avocado): But let’s try to get more people to jojn |
17 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Bluemaster250): Thanks for the info |
17 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Avocado): If you know anyone else who knows how to play diplomacy can you ask them? I know, I’m very impatient |
19 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (JGLikesStratGames): Just two more... |
19 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Avocado): Now three, someone left |
19 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Brianthethompson): Uno mas |
20 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: (Avocado): Let’s see if someone joins |
20 Apr 23 UTC | Spring, 1861: Ok, we've commenced. Does anyone here need help with this game format? Note that this game is PPSC and that means that anyone left alive at game end gets some pts and credit. I'm sure everyone will have observed that a few powers are considerably larger than others, but they have wide borders and are vulnerable to local alliances against them. Good luck to everyone. |
