18 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 527: [Kingdom of Saltz]:(KiNg Of DiPlOmAcY): KA this is your variant?

That's so cool!
18 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 527: [Ruins of Holgii]:(King Atom): Why yes it is, apparent ally of mine.
18 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 527: [Kingdom of Saltz]:(KiNg Of DiPlOmAcY): Really nice map. It, strategically, reminds me of the classic version.
18 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 527: [Trylika]:(Shep315): sweet, been meaning to check this map out

this is a weird question, but out of curiosity what tech levels do you imagine these countries being at KA?
18 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 527: [Elenian Empire]:(G): So, who's team am I on?
18 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 527: [Elenian Empire]:(G): I've wondered that myself actually, because part of it suggests fantasy, but some of the names (i.e. homeworld) suggest space-age. Cool either way :D
18 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 527: [Ruins of Holgii]:(King Atom): G, you are allied with Old Bramia and Socialist Glock.
Here are the teams again:

The Grand Alliance: (Socialist Glock+Elenian Empire+Old Bramia) vs. The Great Southern Alliance: (Gernavia+Trylikia) vs. The Raging Kingdoms: (Kingdom of Saltz+The Hacklers+Ruins of Holgii)

At a time, Shep (And G), there was a great Empire that ruled almost this entire planet. They developed technology far beyond our comprehension, but revering nature and a planet's right to develop on its own, they never went out into space. Other kingdoms around them began to rise, just as rebellions for 'simpler lives' began across the globe. Before long, this Empire fell and much of their technology was lost to the ruthless barbarians who defeated them. Time passed, and a new Empire began to rise up, the Holgians! Shortly thereafter, a massive earthquake destroyed much of the world and sank many great cities to the seas...
Now most of the nations have rose up and intend to fight each other. At this point, that which was once known to the world has been long forgotten. The people were so stupid that they were amazed to see gunpowder developed.
So, to answer your question in short, they have industrial and medical technology a good number of years ahead of our time. They also have begun to launch satellites into space. However, as far as war goes, they have merely begun to invent machine guns. They are closer to Franco-Prussian era.

18 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 527: [Trylika]:(Shep315): ah, thanks sounds interesting
18 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 527: [Elenian Empire]:(G): Should I be disturbed to see that the last country chosen is my ally? :P
18 Mar 12 UTC Spring, 527: [Old Bramia]:Here we are to start this game...
21 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 527: [Gernavia]:The conflict here seems rather unbalanced
21 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 527: [Ruins of Holgii]:I was hoping that you two would be forced against each other while my team dominated completely...
21 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 527: [Gernavia]:BUt seriously though, how many sure builds did team Purple get? Blue? Red? we had one... almost
21 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 527: [Ruins of Holgii]:There is a cookie. And it is crumbling...
21 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 527: [Gernavia]:I don't know what that means... but Purple=4, Blue=5, Red=1
21 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 527: [Kingdom of Saltz]:This is going to be an EPIC battle
21 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 527: [Kingdom of Saltz]:I also have a question. Since the winning condition is 43 SC's (the entire map), will the game be over when one alliance wins, or when some country takes everything?
21 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 527: [Trylika]:usually team games end with a draw
21 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 527: [Ruins of Holgii]:I did that so you have to Draw, and that no one member of a team can win.
21 Mar 12 UTC Autumn, 527: [Kingdom of Saltz]:OK good
