29 Dec 10 UTC | Spring, 1901: Really, with no units this game is seriously flawed. Let's draw, cancel and start a new game. |
29 Dec 10 UTC | Spring, 1901: What do you mean? It was custom start. |
29 Dec 10 UTC | Spring, 1901: look at England He NMRd so he has no units. France, Germany and Russia get a head start. |
29 Dec 10 UTC | Spring, 1901: I'm willing to cancel |
29 Dec 10 UTC | Spring, 1901: Don't care either way. Putting in the cancel order so if everyone wants it, it happens. |
29 Dec 10 UTC | Spring, 1901: I guess if most of you want to cancel I will too. |
11 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Hi everyone. Some of you may have seen on your news networks the flooding that is occurring here in Australia. The city I live has started flooding and will get progressively worse over the next 2-3 days. As a result the utility company is already flagging electricity may be cut as soon as 9 hours away. If this occurs I'll be without internet as I'd prefer to keep the battery going on my iPhone for emergency phone calls only (who knows we could be out of power for a week or longer.) As a result I've put in Pause vote. Hopefully (in the cruel and twisted world that is Diplomacy) you'll find it in your heart to also vote Pause. Once all is fine or things don't get as bad as predicted we can take away the pause. Thanks in advance... |
13 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Hi everyone. The flood is still up but the waters are slowly falling. We're all safe and out place wasn't damaged. Thanks so much for pausing. I've put in an unpause vote now. |
14 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 1903: We now just need Russia to unpause which may be unlikely given that he NMRed before the pause. |
19 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Can we just get a mod to cancel then? |
19 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Give him another day or two. If he no-shows we'll get Oli in to unpause. |
22 Jan 11 UTC | Autumn, 1903: (Oli): I've send Russia in CD, so you can continue playing. Maybe ask for a replacement on the boards, so you can get a good replacement as long as Russia is in a good shape. |
26 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 1904: oh fuck why did i join this game |
26 Jan 11 UTC | Spring, 1904: 'Cos you have points to burn? |
15 Feb 11 UTC | Spring, 1907: OK so there only 3 of us left. CAn we draw? I know you can win Germany, but with all of the drop outs do you want to win that way? |
16 Feb 11 UTC | Spring, 1907: I would be willing to draw. |
16 Feb 11 UTC | Spring, 1907: Yes, they dropped out as I broke their will ;-) |
