Please read these notes that can be considered as Special Game Rules. • Even though we can expect that this will be a competitive game with stabs and with real trust, it is intended to be a gentlemen's game : fun, enjoyment and companionship are the priorities of this game. •This private game is reserved to courteous players who are good communicators and who commit to not NMR • Readying orders is always encouraged but never mandatory : players are always allowed to use the full Phase time in order to enter their orders, even if it is for the forced disband of their very last Unit. • Players should try to avoid asking for Extends but, if an Extend is asked, it will be granted : each player should feel comfortable with the game and, at the same time, have the possibility to face real life priorities without being afraid of damaging the game. Two players have already written to me that they might need an Extend occasionally because they have already planned to travel in areas where internet connection could be difficult or maybe even impossible. • Players also have the possibility to have a sitter in order to handle their game. In that case, players will make sure to choose a sitter who will play our game according to its standards. • With a 4-day Phase, the possibility to ask Extends that will be automatically granted and with the possibility to have a sitter, there should be no CD at all. However, if there is ever a CD, a potential remplacement player will need to have the agreement of at least 50 % of the non-eliminated players. In case a potential replacement player was blocked, before the CD happens, then the blocking player will have the possibility to use that as a veto. In other words, no player will be forced to unblock another one. • The password will not be given publicly on the forum. • Whatever happens, the game will not be paused. The purpose of these notes is to help us to have a high quality and pleasant game. I wish you all a great experience with this game ! |

My browser crashed and sent the "process phase now" command twice when I tried to restore, so the first command started the game, and since none of us had orders in the second command triggered the server's auto cancel game feature and we all lost our 155 bet (which I have just finished adding back to everyone). I will be looking at everyone's NMR record to see what affect the cancelled game had on that, but I already confirmed that it did not affect anyone's CD record. Please call for my head on the mod forum if you want an official vote of no confidence!!! |
