03 May 17 UTC Good game.

I'm curious, though - Quebec, why stab? You could likely have pulled a draw if you held the line.
03 May 17 UTC (also: end goal, get fleets into the Great Lakes: SUCCESS!)
03 May 17 UTC Well, that schux....

But good game @peru - welcome to the club :). I had considered you from an early stage my main antagonist. Having been the first one to ever win with Peru on this map, i knew how annoying pinky can become in the hands of people who know what they are doing, and it seemed like you did. Hence, i had strategically not taken hawaii in order to hold the pacific line, even though i had to deal with an annoying californian army for a while (though there was absolutely no reason to have him as an additional survivor).

@Texas: i think you should have earlier started to concentrate on the south instead on me. I needed someone to balance peru in the gulf, alas, all i saw from you were armies going towards me.. Pity.

@Quebec..... W...T....F? dude, did you get bored with this game and decided to blow it? Seriously, you better should have stayed out. The previous quebec was rather unreliable, reacting with indignation when i moved towards him when he missed his moves, but at least he knew peru is the top priority. But you? i had pretty much deescalated our border and you had one simple job: make sure your border in the north is tight. I am sure i would have done my part in the south and stalemated the shit of of peru after a while. But all you did is sitting in those centers letting peru take one position after another around you bay (even though he could not get past my defenses). Maybe you should go play risk... right now you are just causing lots of facepalm migraine...
03 May 17 UTC If Texas had retreated to San Antonio, bouncing the Mexican army and then rebuilding, I'd probably have gone for the 5-way draw as soon as we'd cleaned up Mexico, to be honest. I'd spent a while before then alliance-signalling, which seemed to be being repaid by the north-focused armies rather than contesting my fleets.

BC, surprised you didn't collapse my Pacific line. All it would have taken was dislodging MPO (rather than bouncing Hawaii) one spring where I was occupied convoying, and you'd have 3 strength to bring to bear on Hawaii for autumn, proceeding to completely shut down my ability to make that critical Lima->Guatemala convoy.
03 May 17 UTC I was expecting some annoyance, but the way I saw it was one of you had my home SCs the other didn't. At the time when I was thinking of the stab BC wasn't far behind so that's how I decided who to help
03 May 17 UTC Also, I'm below 1000 points for a reason
03 May 17 UTC yeah, and thats why you should play risk and not diplomacy.... seriously, a draw was a perfectly viable outcome. and i dont know how peru feels, but people usually prefer to win by overcoming all opposition and not by the actions of someone who apparently likes to play fucking santa instead of playing the game
