15 Sep 18 UTC Well played Mephisto; you guessed right about Tunis in the first year, but with Castille focused on wiping me out of the Iberian peninsula I had to get a build to buttress my position there ... so by Spring of the second year "MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN" was appearing on my breakfast cereal box...
16 Sep 18 UTC Well done Mephisto. I tried twice to do a Richard the Lionheart to get to Jerusalem without success. Incidentally I touched on this game a number of times in recent podcast episodes (the most recent one which should go live in the next 24 hours)
16 Sep 18 UTC Thank you, it was an interesting game, but the Ayyubid Sultanate is relatively easy to play in my view ...
16 Sep 18 UTC Agree, especially when western Europe is running around poking each other in the eye!
