01 Aug 18 UTC Well played, Uber. In my head I was screaming at Chumbles "Wake up, Puni! This game has an odd number of SCs so it can't end in a two way draw!" :-)
01 Aug 18 UTC Damn, I was all at sea in this one... dear Lord, Scipio sbercacher gets to sow my fields with salt... well played. My poot ancient eyes never saw that the Helleni had been struck through *sigh*
02 Aug 18 UTC GG!

@YCHTT, Thanks for the early alliance that allowed me to overwhelm kaner.

And thanks Chumbles for not noticing that the end was imminent! ;)
02 Aug 18 UTC After taking the Italian peninsula I was in a great position to grab two more centers and win. (At that point I actually thought I needed ten) All-in-all I like this map and would play it again. I want to try playing Helleni, they seem like the weakest in this variant.
02 Aug 18 UTC This was my second tilt at this variant, first one I played Etrusci and was swamped by the other three very quickly, this one I was again swamped quickly by the other three. Seems like you need a bit of luck not to become a target in the first stages of the game, especially as Etrusci and Helleni who both don't have landed defensive regions.
02 Aug 18 UTC Yeah. It seems that Romani and Puni can dictate who gets a chance.
