25 Mar 19 UTC I'm just luck Ingebot and the Doc recognized early on that I was better left to hold the south. It took a few turns of feeling each other out, but not as many as some do. I was very satisfied. I have to admit, there was a slight temptation to head into Germany instead of attacking Austria. But the returns vx repercussions were not really in my favor. So I did what I thought worked pretty well. Glad to have jumped into this game after a long break from the site. Ambassador, I don't really see how you could have played it better considering your position. Sorry it worked out that way. SE Asia was a total loss for me no matter how I would have played it. I just couldn't get on the same page with Britain to try and work together there. Eki was so aggressive and made the right moves to where I had no counter to him. Well played all.
25 Mar 19 UTC I'm just luck? How about lucky?
25 Mar 19 UTC GG everyone. India and I had a good back and forth battle going on. It looked like I may have finally had the advantage on him, but then Germany decided to finally attack me. Plus Englands move to NPO would have hurt me severely.
25 Mar 19 UTC Japan, yeah I took a risk in 1910 when I grabbed Borneo. Unfortunately I didn't get Saigon and you destroyed my army.

Thanks Turkey, my loyal ally.
25 Mar 19 UTC Thanks to you, India! I thought you might go ahead and destroy me when I disbanded my lone fleet. Luckily for me, Austria and Russia had even border disputes between them to keep me from being wiped out.
25 Mar 19 UTC Great game guys and it’s a lot of fun to play with such a great group of heavy hitters.

I was surprised when the draw got offered as I felt I was well and truly next on the chopping block!

And well stabbed on me Kaner. Bastard. If you didn’t do that I had a chance.
25 Mar 19 UTC I agreed to the draw because Britain finally attacked my weak backside. I had hoped to at least finish off Austria and Turkey but it was not to be. My game was basically attacking the strongest country other than me to secure a "balance" until Britain figured out my game. I'm surprised I kept my holdings in China.
26 Mar 19 UTC Oh wow, didn't expect the draw so soon! Also Japan - why didn't you take advantage of my exposed eastern Front? You had be as good as paralyzed between fear of your invasion that never came, and the need to keep a presence against a dirty rotten English player who camped an army in St.Pete.

No hard feelings Amby, I had to try something, I was stagnating.
26 Mar 19 UTC Russia, you were putting pressure on India and Turkey from the north. I also would have slowly started surrounding Germany and feared he would get scared and attack me. Turns out he attacked anyways.
