19 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: I'm confused. We have to create chatlogs now? Did that happen for anyone else?
19 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: ubercacher16 (Gamedirector): Yes, that is normal now.
19 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: ubercacher16 (Gamedirector): I've picked a time in the next 24 hours. Will the winner get to pick an order for Spring 01 or Fall 01? And we will skip retreats/builds obviously.
19 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Idk, builds and retreats could be interesting.
19 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: ubercacher16 (Gamedirector): If England has the only retreat and Austria has to choose it that would be pretty strange. But sure.
19 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: I think it was that you pick the order for the same phase that the time was.
19 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: *Sees I have Austria...Again*
*Grumbles about something*
19 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: I seem to have the worst luck in pretty much every variant. It's always Austria. The Hungarian algorithm or whatever doesn't really help either, since I play different variants. Also, I assume double posts like this only count as one, and thus Italy leads?
19 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: It's picked from the winning thread still.
19 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Hi guys, I’m semi smashed. Strategic drunkenness gone wrong:

It delays me having normal conversations with you.

BUT on the upside I’m hoping I’m drunk enough to sleep through three teenage girls coming back from their formal (prom for you Americans) and not waking during their sleepover antics.
19 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Best of luck Amby!
20 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: ubercacher16 (Gamedirector): I have another question for the group. Are we allowing negotiations about the forced move? Like is someone allowed to reveal they have the power and are people who are forced to move allowed to claim that?

I'm thinking this is pretty obviously a yes, but I think it's good to say anyway.
20 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: People should be allowed to say anything that they want whether true or not.
20 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: I agree with France. It was specifically explained when the rules were set up that nothing prevents the person forced to move from explaining that to others. But the general rule in the traditions of the game is that anyone can say anything -- lies, truth, or a mixture of the two.
20 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Agree with gopher's perspective. It'll just be up to the GM to ensure that the real request is acted on.
20 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: In that case, I just want everyone to know that the winner, through uber, instructed me to do a key lepanto, and that's why I've been requesting to do it, definitely not cause I've never done it before and really want to.
20 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: I don't quite know how this was resolved, but I would prefer that there not be commanded orders during retreats and builds. Someone could be ordered to destroy a strategically vital unit that functionally ends their game or be ordered to retreat into an occupied territory.
20 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Without sounding like I'm France's spy, I agree with him on builds shouldn't be allowed to be guided by the Winner that 24 hour period in the Wiinning thread. Probably also the same for retreats.

When I proposed the idea it was intended to be spring and fall moves. I just never explicitly said that.
20 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Wait, how can the winner tell Italy to do a Key-Lepanto. All he could say is move to Venice, right?
20 Sep 20 UTC Spring, 1901: I'm afraid that you have to let Italy into Trieste, Austria. I mean he says that he has been ordered to do a key lepanto. I mean are you going to doubt the integrity of an Italian politician?
