Anybody else having problems getting into DipRepublic?

Diprepublic is coming along nicely but I'm looking for some new ideas that might attract/retain traffic to our site as well as diplomacy in general and make Diprep more than just a discussion forum. A Diplomacy related comic is one idea that has come up, unfortunately I'm not very artistic but if you have the skills to do this or anything else for that matter please let me know.

Some other things that I've thought of are a heavily roleplayed game using the forums and working on new variants as a team so if you're interested in any of these or have anything else to offer do get in touch.

I know well I should just sit down & shut up, as no-one cares what I enter in the Forum.

But I have a suggestion: BAN all topics relating to 1) politics & 2) religion.

If someone wants to rant or insinuate Tory or Labour, or to explicate a finding affecting the correlation between Science & religion, let them go elsewhere.
Lots of sites & blogs out there to say those things. WE have games to play.

How about you implement diplomacy games, lol.

That's a possibility, but it means we're in competition rather than affiliation with several sites that we all enjoy. Also I don't think we could offer a better Diplomacy experience than the existing sites.

I mean along the lines of variant development, events, zines or articles, things that are cross-site in interest.

We now have affiliation with playdiplomacy.com so my plan is for a cross-site experience
