Autumn, 1997: I'm confused. Why did Britain's attack on the North Sea fail? |

Autumn, 1997: Because there wasn't anywhere for the fleet already in the North Sea to go... |

Autumn, 1997: You can't support yourself/anyone into a position which takes one of your units - so he cant force himself onto a tile he already owns. |

Spring, 1998: GameMaster: Darren has taken over Ukraine replacing "leadpencils". Reconsider your alliances. |

Spring, 1998: GameMaster: Ukraine voted for a Cancel. If everyone votes Cancel all points will be refunded and the game will be deleted from the database. |

Spring, 1998: GameMaster: Ukraine voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |

Spring, 2003: GameMaster: Spain voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has. |

Spring, 2005: Disappointing that Egypt CDs after leaving himself wide open to Turkey. Doesn't he get that he could still finish with a draw? I just don't understand why so many players CD the minute things don't fall their way, as there's so much -- even more -- to be learned from playing when things aren't going well. And it's also a drag for everyone else, as it dramatically alters the game. Boo Egypt. |

Spring, 2005: Even as poor England i stayed to the end :p even if I have no chance at getting anything |

Spring, 2005: As it should be! Thanks poor England! I wonder if these same people just quit all games, and even other endeavors, when the going gets tough? |

Autumn, 2005: Poor England, what about poor Germany? I got stabbed by Poland and England, stuck around, and almost managed to get England knocked out before myself! I agree with Poland 100%, fighting a losing battle is excellent. It's often frustrating, but I definitely enjoy the change in strategy. CDs are one of the few things that I feel can actually ruin a game entirely. I'm not pleased with the result of this game, but prior to my defeat, the early game and the time after my stab made this one of my favorite games of diplomacy thus far. |

Autumn, 2005: I agree 100% |

Autumn, 2005: You've played a great game Germany (I almost went with you over Turkey, and of course, had I known Egypt would set Turkey up and then disappear, I would have went with you, as this changed the game completely). As you know, sometimes there's nothing you can do Germany, and you've fought valiantly. |

Spring, 2006: Egypt's logged onto the site a few times since he's been AWOL, but won't move his units??? |
19 Apr 13 UTC |
Spring, 2006: I guess he's drawing out the game... |
24 Apr 13 UTC |
Autumn, 2006: Wow, Egypt continues to log in but won't move? He gives away his own share of the draw after setting Turkey up all game just because he got stabbed? This is pathetic. Quitters really ruin the game. |

Autumn, 2006: That is another reason to keep me alive :p |

Autumn, 2006: I admire your spirit! |

Autumn, 2006: Well good game guys, sucks that I didn't survive but that's what happens sometimes. |
