Well, Mercia... I DEFENDED myself in PM... but I soon saw that the way I expanded (such as there was) left me open for stab. I just was trusting Erudite, since that was my only wagon to hitch to. He played me well! I like this map.

To be honest, it wasn't your fault. As I told you in PM, Scotland or Anglia were already due to solo after the first year. the only question was which.

If I could have placed a couple units at home (instead of bouncing in wales) I might have not been so tempting for him... and things might have been continuing now. We littlies could have caused trouble for some time. But ultimately, you are probably right, Alcuin.
