25 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1939: (ksharpey): who is pwnosaurus?
25 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1939: Hey guys, I am DeSI Merlin. - Devu
25 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1939: I think that's Noah. Who is DeSi Merlin?
25 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1939: Yes, I pwnosaurs am Noah and am playing as Britain it looks like. I presume everyone saw the rule book I sent out. If you have any questions about them, feel free to ask. Also note that there are some special rules for this map. Namely, the army in Serbia is neutral and holds every turn, and fleets can move from the red sea to south atlantic ocean and persian gulf in one move.
25 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1939: so we have two days to read the rules and make our first moves?
25 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1939: that's a crazy rule w/ the red sea- s atl
25 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1939: Yes, the deadline is in the upper right hand corner. If you don't submit orders your units won't move at all.
25 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1939: How do distances affect moves? E.g. If Warsaw wants to support Moscow, Berlin or Baghdad, are all three moves equivalent? (Each will be a single move from what I understand)
26 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1939: So Warsaw can't actually support Berlin, Baghdad, or Moscow.

There are two types of support, support move and support hold. A unit may only support the hold of a unit that is in an adjacent territory. So Warsaw could support a unit in Krakow holding, but not a unit in Ukraine holding.

With support moves, a unit may only support a unit moving *into* an adjacent territory. So, Warsaw could support an army in Ukraine moving into Krakow, but it could not support Krakow moving into Ukraine because the destination of the move must be adjacent to the supporting unit.

So this means that you will only be interacting with your neighbors at the start of the game. Poland and Spain won't have a chance to help each other on the board until their units are near each other. Of course you could still help each other diplomatically if you are so inclined :)
26 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1939: "Support can be given without consent and cannot be refused. This causes some wonderfully unexpected moments in the game"

28 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1939: GameMaster: Britain voted for a Extend. If 2/3 of the active players vote Extend the the current phase will be extend by 4 days. Please consider backing this. If the majority is not reached by "Spring, 1940" the votes will be cleared.
28 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1939: GameMaster: Per 2/3 majority vote the gamephase got extended by 4 days.

29 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 1939: Hello World
01 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1939: I love the smell of Europe in the morning
01 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1939: GameMaster: NMR from Spain. Send the country in CD.
01 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1939: GameMaster: Missing orders for Spring, 1939 (Diplomacy) from a country with 2 or more SCs. Extending phase. The game will continue after this phase even if you do not find a replacement.
24 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1941: GameMaster: Britain voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
20 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 1943: Don't you win now Pwnosaurs? I thought 18 supply centres was the goal?
20 Oct 14 UTC Autumn, 1943: 18 would be the goal in standard diplomacy. Since this variant map has additional supply centers, I think the game will end when one of us has half, which I guess would be 27 or 28 in this case. Sorry if that wasn't clear!
