04 Feb 15 UTC Hi all, thanks for the great game, and congratulations to Germany for the victory: he was a great ally.. I somewhat expected he'd go for the solo, but could do very little about that.
Britain, sorry for Teheran: I saw your move to Egyptian See, and started panicking: it looked like you were stabbing me, trying to get as many SCs as you could.. so I decided to let Germany take the 2 remaining SCs (not that he'd need much help) but make sure I kept everything else; since I expected you'd take Crete, I retaliated on Teheran.. which was a mistake.
Spain: thanks for taking Algiers out of France's hands (which was an important turning point in our struggle), perhaps you could have helped more against Germany (but I understand that Britain's fleets were a big concern for you).
France: I did not expect your attack, but luckily my eastern front went well, and was able to turn on you.. I made several errors in the fight over Milan, Switzerland, Lyon and Marseilles.. but they were enough for me to give too much time to Germany, and not for you to keep alive (btw, DrR.. why do you always get France?)
05 Feb 15 UTC I wish I knew. I'm on quite a run. I fully expect that I will not draw France again for at least a year, to even things out.
05 Feb 15 UTC Though, I should be careful what I wish for....
05 Feb 15 UTC Yeah there was a chance there I could have applied some pressure on Germany but Britain's move to South Atlantic forced me play more defensively. Again kudos to Germany for a solid solo on a tough map.
05 Feb 15 UTC Sorry about the crash folks. I had no Internet access in Jamaica
05 Feb 15 UTC No probl with Teheran, Italy, I played this match bad enough not to deserve more than 3 SCs
06 Feb 15 UTC Thanks for the game everyone. You were a great ally too Italy, and there were several times when I feared you would turn on me before I was ready to start my offensive. And from 1949 I was convinced there would be a stop the solo alliance. When Spain misinterpreted Englands attempt to help as an attack, that bought me the time to get my fleets into position to secure my water front and fully concentrate on pushing southward.
08 Feb 15 UTC Guaroz (Gamedirector): Silence is ON.
