25 May 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: (Argentinean Empire): Shoulda made this unrated. |
25 May 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: (bugzduck): xD |
25 May 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: (Argentinean Empire): Unrated is better for new players. |
25 May 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: (jrrtolkiennerd): Also also not new. @Scotieboy9 if you're interested in learning more game strategy I suggest this site http://www.diplomacy-archive.com/resources/strategy.htm |
25 May 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: (bugzduck): this is more becoming the new player vs the old experienced players |
26 May 16 UTC | Spring, 1901: So who is actually new here? |
26 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Not me |
26 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 1901: I am :( |
27 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 1901: England, France, and Russia, who's up for a good old 4 prong attack on Germany? |
27 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 1901: I'm willing to stake no claim in Germany's centers to see him fall |
27 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 1901: im down for it |
27 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Also, just a note for all players new and old - something I usually try to do in most of my games (though not this one just because I wanted to see what would happen), send out an initial message to everyone right when you start. Sometimes alliances form on the mere basis that one person talked to another and they both identified each other as a reliable partner. And even if that doesn't happen, it helps to get some bearing of what the other person is saying. Ex. if I'm Russia and Austria talks to me but Turkey doesn't, I'm probably not going to be working with Turkey |
27 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Idk, that's not necessarily always a great idea, if turkey talks to Austria and Russia they get back into a hole and Austria and Russia could talk and find out who turkey wanted to take out, generally ally with someone on your border and make it clear ur plan of action from the start |
27 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 1902: I mean, there's the matter of *how* you talk to someone too. Don't tell them what you're doing obviously, just say what you might be interested in. But if a neighbor isn't talking to me, I become very suspicious of them. At the very least they'll seem like someone I can't reliably work with. |
27 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Fair enough |
28 May 16 UTC | Autumn, 1902: GameMaster: Germany voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has. |
07 Jun 16 UTC | Autumn, 1906: GameMaster: Germany voted for a Cancel. If everyone votes Cancel all points will be refunded and the game will be deleted from the database. |
07 Jun 16 UTC | Autumn, 1906: GameMaster: Germany voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |
