19 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Sweet! We finally got this game going!
19 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Can we just do some introductions?
19 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1901: I'm Nate, playing Turkey, currently at school in Pennsylvania, but friends with Jason and Landon from home.
19 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Huzzah! It started!
19 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1901: I am Landon, for those who don't know me, I'm extremely handsome, but also quite modest!
19 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Jason here, Italia, I go to UConn, far more handsome and modest than Landon. I'm friends with Billy (wja13003), Landon, and Nathaniel.
19 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1901: I am Landon, for those who don't know me, I'm extremely handsome, but also quite modest!
19 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1901: yo I'm Brendan. I live in North Carolina and no, I don't have a southern accent. I don't know any of you - they just pulled me off of Craigslist to fill out this game
19 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey guys, we are splitting his price, right? It's all on my card, but you guys are going to pay me back...... right?
21 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Ich bin david, ich bin wohl deutschland. Ich werde immer Last Minute damit sein, aber wer weiß.
21 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Oh we're speaking our country's language now? Prosciutto italiano garlic bread spaghetti parmesan salami badada boopi!
22 Mar 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: NMR from Germany. Send the country in CD.
22 Mar 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: Missing orders for Autumn, 1901 (Diplomacy) from a country with 2 or more SCs. Extending phase. The game will continue after this phase even if you do not find a replacement.
23 Mar 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: As per the Geneva Convention of 1864, The great nation of Austria-Hungary declares war on the country of Turkey. Chemical warfare will not be used, but there are plans in the works to tape bombs to bats and send those Turkey's way.
Russia, if any of your citizens find a bat that blinks red, do please send them across the Black Sea.
Thank you for your cooperation.
25 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1909: Okay people, now here's an interesting situation. The three great powers are fairly even (Russia, France, Italy) and most of us have Finals approaching (Sorry Nathaniel, I'm not sure when yours are). I feel like the game could go on for a rather long time as one person tries to close out the game and capture the necessary 18 Supply Stations. Would people be down for ending this game after a couple more turns and then starting another once summer begins? Any thoughts?

25 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1909: Personally I'd like to continue until it seems clear who's going to win, or if it really starts to take too long then we could agree to some sort of 3 way tie. But I think it's not really a huge time sink, so I personally can keep playing even during finals week.
25 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1909: In light of finals, I would like to propose a game pause. Yes, the game isn't a large time sink, but I also think it's important for us all to concentrate on school during these last two weeks of the semester.
25 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1909: I feel like if we pause the game everyone may lose interest even further tbh
25 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1909: I'm OK with whatever people choose
25 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1909: I just think this is an unnecessary distraction during finals week. I don't want to be worrying about making moves and strategy when I have exams.
