12 Jun 17 UTC | Autumn, 1908: GameMaster: Germany voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has. |
23 Jun 17 UTC | Autumn, 1913: GameMaster: Italy voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat. |
28 Jun 17 UTC | Well played, England. I was hoping you and France would've slugged it out a few more rounds so that I could turn my attention West. Alas, Italy defended too well in Turkey. Italy, sorry about the "stab" - I didn't trust you not to attack me once I saw that army in Armenia knowing that Turkey was soon to fall. |
28 Jun 17 UTC | Thanks! It was pretty close that France would've gotten the upper hand against me but I suppose I made some good/lucky guesses. I was afraid that Austria might have defended St. Petersburg still this turn (because you must've known I was close to a solo) but in the end it would've only taken me a year longer to bring another fleet around there. And I should have enough defensive units to keep everything else for one more year even if all of you cooperated perfectly. |
29 Jun 17 UTC | I considered defending it, but given the situation in Turkey that bound my troops I figured the game was lost either way. I couldn't prevent you from taking Rome next year. |
29 Jun 17 UTC | Yes, congrats to you, Britain. I almost got you there, but you could get upper hand and the rest is history. |
29 Jun 17 UTC | I fought my corner and tried to get the Dr to realise that I was trying to establish an alliance, but that damned Fleet kept pinning me down. A western power victory was on the cards after Italy decided not to trust me after my supporting all and sundry for years. But I was damned if I'd make it easy to wipe me. Interesting game. Turkey is the Persia of the game - doomed to be set upon; mainly because of a misokaced fear that it's powerful. |
29 Jun 17 UTC | Yeah, the statistics in Classic Fog suggest that Turkey is the strongest nation, so I can see how that may be turned against them. |
30 Jun 17 UTC | Before i forgot it: GG and congratulation Britain! Yes Chumbles that wasnt our game. I was surprised that you let me get in the Black Sea. On the other hand Armenia attacked the whole time Sew. Sometimes i give you a SM to Serbia but it was difficult. Sorry Turkey. I realized that it would not be my game and then i was annoying a bit (with the fleet in Black sea)... But it was a good game with strong players. |
30 Jun 17 UTC | One thing more: It was my fault Chumbles that we dont got an alliance. I was angry that i was loosing at all fronts and played with the idea of annoying all enemies ;) |
30 Jun 17 UTC | Forgiven, Doctor! |
30 Jun 17 UTC | :-) |
