23 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Hi all, First game on this site so new to the interface. It says 'Anon' so I assumed it would be gunboat and no communication? have I got this wrong as we do seem to be able to message each other?
23 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Anon I think just means that each player remain anonymous, so you don't know who you're playing against. Other than that the game is the same as normal
23 Jun 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Yep, your right. seems the site rules have anon and gunboat as two different things!
25 Jun 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: NMR from Russia. Send the country in CD.
25 Jun 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: NMR from Austria. Send the country in CD.
25 Jun 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: Missing orders for Autumn, 1901 (Diplomacy) from a country with 2 or more SCs. Extending phase. The game will continue after this phase even if you do not find a replacement.
25 Jun 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Russia replacing "Sammioth". Reconsider your alliances.
25 Jun 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Austria replacing "Sultan Natick". Reconsider your alliances.
01 Jul 17 UTC Spring, 1903: Just before I carry on, am I misunderstanding a rule. Why did my convoy fail when it had support and nothing was supporting A(Hol) to hold?
01 Jul 17 UTC Spring, 1903: I have looked in the order log and found this:

"The fleet at North Sea convoy to London from Holland. (fail)"

You accidentally made the convoy in the wrong direction.
01 Jul 17 UTC Spring, 1903: If you want to have a look in the order log yourself, you can find the link to the archive at the bottom of this page (under the register with our empires and number of supply centers). Simply click on archive: orders and you can find all the orders per phase.
01 Jul 17 UTC Spring, 1903: Ok, I'm an idiot! I wish it showed nationality of units if not your own. My mistake. Worst misorder ever!
05 Jul 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: I'm quite disappointed to see that france went NMR and CD. A real shame.
05 Jul 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: GameMaster: Someone has taken over France replacing "Juanbo v2". Reconsider your alliances.
05 Jul 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: GameMaster: France voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
05 Jul 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Hello all, I am the new France. I intend to move for a draw to the game, but will gladly cancel if the board would like that. I also think that Turkey is a clear and present danger as he is 4 SCs from victory. I, therefore, offer peace to all and assistance in any way necessary to help stem the Turkish onslaught.
06 Jul 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: think you can save me?
06 Jul 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: I wish I had the ability to help you, but sadly, that lies with Germany and England.
06 Jul 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Welcome France! Glad you took over the CD'ing player, it's always quite disappointing (though it didn't change too much about the balance of the game fortunately).
10 Jul 17 UTC Gg guys.

Was an odd game with the NMR's and 12 sc victory condition. Had completely overlooked that aspect of the game while signing up. Don't think this alternative victory condition for this variant works nicely, as it is impossible to even have a 3-way draw. Fun to try out but not necessary to repeat.

Also thank you to Startplayer for the solid and enjoyable communication over the course of this game and to Austria for offering aid to finish this game asap. Last but not least, admirable attempt by Gramuk to take over France and still try to enforce a draw.
