26 Aug 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Info: This is a choose your country game.
12 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1906: Dr. Recommended (Gamedirector): Sorry folks, got an issue. Shouldn't take long to fix.
12 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1906: Dr. Recommended (Gamedirector): The country switch feature was used at the beginning of games 1-3 to pass a nation to a replacement player who could complete the tournament. Now, the games have switched back to the original player, and simply reversing that is apparently not working. Since I am in these games and cannot see who is who, I have asked Captainmeme to straighten this out. Please bear with us while we fix the issue, and I apologize for the delay. Games 1 and 2 will also be paused for this reason. The issue will not be a factor for Games 4-9. Thanks for your patience.

12 Nov 17 UTC Tough fight against Israel. Samj, you had a perfect defense line against me in 1915. Then you just did some stupid moves and gave me a chance to hit you down.
12 Nov 17 UTC Definitely... Sometimes we over think things, and wonder, "what if?", instead of just going with logic. Buts that why we have to play the game to the end. You never know what someone may do. I was getting pressure from Sicily at that point, and I would rather you gain as someone I had fought the whole game, than the one that was supposed to have my back.
12 Nov 17 UTC Nah, I was full support while you still had fleets in position to properly defend. Pulling one back when Dam S Arabia is impenetrable without fleets making progress through the Con choke did nothing but force me to take more responsibility for the line.
12 Nov 17 UTC I do have to say (not having finished many games on this map before), the sizable central-Burgundy zone with no centres is quite an interesting feature. Lots of back and forth around it with no real gains to swing the contest.
27 Nov 17 UTC Eki/Shah, game well played up north. I didn’t stand a chance once Shah stabbed me, and I couldn’t ever convince you Eki to turn and fight west, likely because of mouse’s success against Spain. Perhaps I simply chose my first target wrong (sorry d-ice), but I couldn’t clean up and turn to pressure you with more strength than you were bringing against me and when I did Shah took the opening. Alas, victory or even a solid draw on this map continues to elude me.
