05 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1: Info: This is a choose your country game.
03 Oct 17 UTC GameMaster: Persia voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
03 Oct 17 UTC I'll take part of the blame for this, but Spartan, you should have seen that I could do the math and wouldn't eliminate you after Ender stabbed for 16 and almost got 18. Why didn't you block at Cyrene?

Dr. Rec, sorry I stabbed a bit too soon. I was going for the solo as well obviously. But it's my fault this went south in the end.

Ender, well played. Just like your namesake. You showed no mercy in the end. The Major would have been proud.
03 Oct 17 UTC Just simply a mistake I realized too late. I had expected being in Memphis as my last center to be my only chance at making any kind of draw so after I messed up, I knew I had to make sure I was in there. My only chance was you being able to fend him off in Greece.

Well done Ender, congrats!
03 Oct 17 UTC Thank you both, but I think everyone playing knows that there was a tremendous amount of luck involved here. At the beginning on it looked like I had both Greece and Carthage to contend with, but Egypt's attack on Carthage saved me in the early years in order to focus on Greece, who then quickly turned his attention towards Persia. The later Persia drive for the solo was warranted...but all those empty centers just were too tempting in the end.

I also appreciate the reference, YCHTT - the enemy's gate is down.
03 Oct 17 UTC While I enjoyed the movie, the book series is far superior. I'm glad I discovered and read all of Ender and Bean long before there was a movie.
