Had you pushed through towards Venezia and Salzburg, i was actually likely to be pulling the same move that you pulled on me in the other game ;-) Your enemies were Romania and Ottomans, not me.

Congrats to Techno on an excellent run with Romania. I would've obviously preferred to go for a smaller draw but I really couldn't see how that was going to happen with an aggressive Italy at my backdoor and a solid alliance between Romania and Ottomans.

Good game! Fink, we had yet another strange relationship this game. I tried to stab you once, but Bob attacked me the same turn. It took a bit to recover our relations, but we remained allies out of pragmatism from there. To me, this game was a fight to the draw the moment we started supporting each other again.

BobRoss, I still find it funny that Kolosvar remained in your control despite the angle of our border. I always love these border anomalies.

Haha, true. Kolosovar was unfortunately a costly overstretch for me. The quadruple (Budapest, Kassa, Temesevar and Kolosvar) was a waste for mainly the protection of 1 SC.
Ah well, this tournament serves to learn the dynamics of this variant ;-)

Technostar: good game. We only fought for a year or two, before realizing it was futile and going off to attack other people. I’m glad our support worked!
The only others I really interacted with were Greece and Bulgaria; all I did was conquer them. To you, and the rest of you all, I say good game.

I wasn't going to attack. I was purely playing defensive in the North and was preparing to go toe to toe with Ottoman in the south. You would have found me support holding up there.

Brutal game. Romania and Turkey just murdered me from the start. Every attempt I made to seek an alliance was repaid with more aggression! Good stuff, donks! Great work by Romania in this game. Best Romania we have seen.
