14 Nov 17 UTC | Autumn, 1904: It's an impressive achievement. Rare to see Turkey this size. I'm enjoying a change from the usual France/Austria game, although the same border lines are forming. |
14 Nov 17 UTC | Spring, 1905: Well, you will win before that I believe, this game is an exercise on speed and convoys. |
14 Nov 17 UTC | Spring, 1905: Yes. While I think England is the weaker player (and to try to compensate for this a bit they allow a fleet to already start in the North Sea), I simply sought to establish the same 18 that France can win with in France v Austria. St Petersburg to Tunis, and France takes the game. I'm setting up for the same thing here. If I were you, I would have been more aggressive in getting my armies and fleets spread out as far as possible, worrying about closer SCs like Serbia/Bulgaria later once you have the borders established. |
14 Nov 17 UTC | Turkey has the handicap to have the fleet in the Black Sea so it takes time to get it in real action and need more fleets. |
14 Nov 17 UTC | Good game. |
14 Nov 17 UTC | A good game. First time I ever played Turkey. |
14 Nov 17 UTC | It's an interesting country to play. I like to play it in full press, not so much in gunboat. This is another variant I'd like to try sometime if we have a third player interested: http://www.vdiplomacy.net/variants.php?variantID=49 |
