03 May 18 UTC Well done d-ice
03 May 18 UTC That squealing sound of burning rubber you heard earlier in the game was me slamming on the brakes. Just as I had France on the ropes I was attacked from behind by Turkey. Massive about turn and that probably helped Germany significantly. If I could have kept going on France and Turkey headed north it would possibly have been a three way. But as always turkey had no idea what was happening over here
03 May 18 UTC Congratulations d-ice!

I am definitely not doing anything right this tournament, getting attack by litterally everyone around me even though I am not showing any concrete aggressions in their direction (name Italy and England in this game). Well, England is a bit more justified as i played a terrible campaign on him a few phases before he went bonkers on me.
03 May 18 UTC Holy crap on a cracker! 21 supply centers? WOW!
03 May 18 UTC Yikes. Yeah Italy and I fighting while Germany conquered the world was really what held us back from any chance at stopping you. Well done d-ice
03 May 18 UTC Actually bob if you look at spring 06 you moved to piedmont. I knew by the next move it was to get to Germany. But in gunboat it’s a risky move. I immediately disengaged from turkey and spent moved two fleets and an army towards you. By the next move it was too late to go back to plan A. So actually it was your move that triggered it to be honest. The problem in foggy is I couldn’t see what else was coming. I was expecting to see fleets in the end and I was exposed
03 May 18 UTC “In the med”
03 May 18 UTC Yeah, again a quite coincidental game. I had a descent start, but it soon went haywire and around 1907-8 I didn't have much about this game. But the Anglo-Italian attack on France turned the game around for me and suddenly I saw potential to strike back. From there and on the progress I had was just mindblowing, and with all western powers alive I can understand that it wasn't too easy to interpret by Italy and Turkey. A perfect position for me.

Thanks all for another great game!
03 May 18 UTC Graham, I completely understand your decision to move towards me as my move to Piedmont was indeed a tricky one. Yet, in these kind of gunboat FoW games it is not necessarily an uncommon move for France to go Piedmont-Tyrolia in order to crush a stalemate situation. Yet, that's a gamble to take each and every time and unfortunately for me it unfolded in the least desirable way.
