The uncertainty when you move west of whether you are going to run into a storm of French fleets or find no resistance and battles happening further north. Certainly my timing of a westward push was luckily about rifght. Towards the end I could tell also that Russia was pretty large. And I was going to have a tough time. But I just had enough gains elsewhere to push me over the 18 SC. And I think because I had little contact until right at the end, others saw Russia as a bigger threat than me and helped me unknowingly. |
