20 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1578: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Shimazu replacing "sweabia". Reconsider your alliances.
20 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1578: Seriously, the dominant power on the board and who had extensive private press reach has now been replaced? Terrrrrrrific.
21 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1578: Private press reach?
21 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1578: We should band together and stop this new threat
21 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1578: And in the next phase, the /new/ dominant power fails to move? Shnikees, folks!
21 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1578: I am about to do the pre holiday long drive. Will try not miss a phase, but am NOT readying up to allow the full run of the clock... should be connected reliably again in about 20 hours
22 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1578: Where you driving?
22 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1579: south eastern california to southern oregon... 900 miles approx
27 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1581: Man this is going to be a rough autumn
27 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1581: How did I manage to fuck up this badly in Bungo
27 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1581: Don't worry, you'll have to fuck up a few more times to save me
28 Dec 18 UTC Spring, 1581: The problem for you is that I don't have much to fuck up in the first place.
28 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1581: I actually think my main problem is I have the rest of the players against me
02 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1583: GameMaster: Oda voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
02 Jan 19 UTC Autumn, 1583: So unite against pink?
02 Jan 19 UTC Autumn, 1583: Yeah, unite against me and it would be better if you abandoned your supply-centres for Oda as well. That's a better plan, right red?
02 Jan 19 UTC Autumn, 1583: I was the first to draw
04 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1584: The phase length is truly making this game effectively a gunboat game for me. I can never offer an option, then see and respond to replies before phases end. Holiday travel and family time mean I get one, maybe two, short sessions on line, usually once a day. That is part of the rationale behind my draw vote. I had negotiations with three players in substance during this game. One stabbed me for (I think) being habitually unresponsive. One repeatedly was unable to help me, again because I was unresponsive, and one NMRed and was replaced because (I again think) phase length.
04 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1584: The schedule will remain like that for me until 10pm Sunday, US West coast time, which is, I think about 3 more phases, one of which, I am almost certain to miss.
04 Jan 19 UTC Spring, 1584: Same I had a feeling that this game was basically a gunboat. I tried to contact Mori, in order to beat down Shimazu, as he was in a corner. He just ran straight into me, and Shimazu proposed an alliance. I went with it, then I got stabbed by him just as Mori jumped at me. I had two supply centres, Shimazu majorily fucked up with his moves and I was able to get behind his lines. I thought that this game would be full of negotiations but in reality no one wanted to talk.
