13 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1654: GameMaster: Ecclesiastic Lands voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes Concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Conceede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
13 Feb 19 UTC Autumn, 1654: GameMaster: Austrian Habsburg voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
07 Mar 19 UTC I'm surprised you went for the draw there hohen. GG.
07 Mar 19 UTC Great! Glad to draw
07 Mar 19 UTC Me too. This was a long game and I really had no clue how it worked at the beginning. Knights being able to retreat past enemy forces to occupy power centers is ridiculous.
07 Mar 19 UTC A difficult variant I think with the split up initial power areas, hard to read map wothbthe squiggly lines and lots of connectivity because of the knights
07 Mar 19 UTC Tactically I started well but was completely trapped behind ecclesiastic lands with nothing to do but attack knowingnit was suicide. Tried to find a way to make peace hoping he was worried about the solo and would leave me alone. But was impossible. Good game everyone (surprised no push for the solo also)
07 Mar 19 UTC this variant definitely keeps you on your toes, especially with the knight moves
07 Mar 19 UTC I had a lot of missed opportunities, for example I thought I would have won after each of the last two years, and it took a lot longer to defeat Wettin than I thought.
But now it would have gone down for me, after I finally lost the south (won 3, lost 7 SCs in spring move). It would have taken a longer time to recover, if possible at all.

The knight moves are definately a bit annoying, I hardly could move away from any of my SCs, even the ones in the very north.
07 Mar 19 UTC You totally outplayed me though. This game reminded why I haven't played this variant in a long time haha
07 Mar 19 UTC McDrops - I was starting to really enjoy our battle in the south!
08 Mar 19 UTC The fact that you are almost punished for dislodging knights is bad design.
08 Mar 19 UTC It is, but the rules are pretty set out from the start
