19 Oct 19 UTC Took over from a stalling mexico, big smh to Britain for not attacking spain when it was clear they were gonna win
19 Oct 19 UTC I was attacked by America from beginning and couldn't spare any unit before it's too late.
21 Oct 19 UTC Took over the Spanish position very early in the game when it was solid, but not spectacular, with the United States threatening to dominate at that time. So understandably, Britain and I quickly came to the conclusion that mutual peace would be best for both of us, and moved accordingly. While Britain should have moved against me at some point as I grew, I don't blame him for his actions. He rarely had the spare build(s) he needed to make a surprise move out west, and the US was foolish in not attempting to negotiate a peace with Britain so that Britain could do something about the growing Spanish danger, so I blame the US more than Britain for that.

Texas played it cautiously, and may have been in the best position to do something about me, but he had to deal with the ambitions of the United States as well and balance his efforts accordingly - maybe he could have done more with a couple of Gulf of Mexico fleet builds a couple of years earlier, or tried to help Mexico out more, but his land offensive wasn't bad. Again, I think the US made things difficult for him.

Mexico was just in a bad spot as I had superior firepower that he had to deal with.

For the final turn, I think the only saving move was ALB->MNT with support from SAS and WYO while EDM cut PUG. Of course, this move required Britain and Texas to coordinate, so that was a tough try on either side. CHI was a sure thing for me the way I played it, so I felt I had a good shot at the win on that turn.
21 Oct 19 UTC Thank you, slypups.
I agree with your conclusion of the game.
