Huh, you attacked me... I am not going to hold off my forces on you even for England. Think about who you attack first. Then you may have a chance at an alliance with them.

I did attempt to give you as much space as i could while repelling the filthy Angles but all i was doing was giving you rope for my noose.

Ok guys, I get it I guess ... but it was gunboat so we couldn't talk, and for a bit there when I shot up to 11 centers I thought I just might have a solo shot

That is understandable, but also cost you the solo win of the game. If you were more conservative then you could have possibly taken additional land and left France to hold off the English while you attacked me. (Militarising your French-Burgundian border of course.)

my only challenge after beating France off my island was to convoy armies to the mainland. Having only Fleets on the coast could have stopped me from growing.
