I feel like Italy is further weakened on this map - I mean, not that I played well anyway, but Italy doesn't even have a natural neutral in the first year ...

Good play by Turkey though, and the Egypt-NAO passage definitely makes the game more interesting.

Good game, especially Germany that was pushing back hard, I was really worried. Italy, I agree with you on both of your points. Once played France on this map, keeping Italy small is a piece of cake. The passage is very interesting in a way that it makes stalemates way harder, what eventually gave me the chance to win this
