08 Sep 20 UTC | Autumn, 1065: The English have taken Hadrian’s Wall. |
08 Sep 20 UTC | Autumn, 1065: They have not taken GLD, yet. |
11 Sep 20 UTC | Autumn, 1067: Normandy - I am defending the north. Norway appears to be moving swiftly....shall we pause on our skirmish for the time being? I will be pushing your army off my island next phase so a convoy to your home may be prudent. |
11 Sep 20 UTC | Autumn, 1067: Yes. He attacked me. So we have common enemy. I can see SW North Sea and Fla |
11 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 1068: So Normans only have Rou, Caen, Bay, and Brittany? If so the English are probably the most powerful. |
12 Sep 20 UTC | Autumn, 1068: Norman's - Norway is quite powerful and are on my island. Are you able to defend the east? |
12 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 1069: English have Gla, York, war, GLD, Oxf, Lond, and Win. That’s seven SCs, more than either you or I. EDI and Dublin remain neutral. They also have “Home field” advantage on an island and already have (at least) 3 fleets (Irish sea, TE, EA). We can not afford to fight each other at this juncture Normans— and you know I am telling the truth because I convoyed my army away from the frontline between us to try to stop England before it is too late. |
12 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 1069: Remember history— it takes all of us fighting on the British isles to have any chance of winning here. |
12 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 1069: (Aside from the fleets, the known English forces for me are HW, York, and Wales armies.) |
12 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 1069: In summary- English have fought both of us off while they soak up neutrals (if they get the last two, they are ONE away from winning!) If we don’t stop them now we never will— I have a forward position against them but none of their SCs, and while you are short an SC, we can trade that back later. Giving up the forward position is suicide. |
12 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 1069: Seriously Norway? Normandy is not that gullible. England does not have all of the "Neutrals" on the island. Norway has fleets outside Ireland. Norway has two fleets on the east coast, with one army on the island. This does not include what is hidden and/or being used against Normandy. England has six centers. I would guess Norway has 7? Norway, I will continue to push against you, the actual threat. |
13 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 1069: England has all of the neutrals but Edi and Dublin, just as I said (unless there are some in southern england I cannot see). England tells the truth about my forces - it is a forward force, but not a large one compared to England's, and it holds no SCs. simple math shows who will win if we do not work together, Normans. |

13 Sep 20 UTC | Spring, 1069: I've listed England's 7 SCs. try to list Norway's 7... it doesn't work. |
13 Sep 20 UTC | Autumn, 1069: Normans, you can see I have not contested your reconquest of Flanders. I think I can rest my case here. |
13 Sep 20 UTC | Autumn, 1069: Normandy - Norway just took Edi. If you could have your SofD tap SW North Sea it would be appreciated. |
13 Sep 20 UTC | Autumn, 1069: Oh no! Norway will be at 6 SCs! Poor England! |
13 Sep 20 UTC | Autumn, 1069: England is always under attack by all sides. Norway has no backside. We should all be concerned big Norway gets to 7 or more. |
13 Sep 20 UTC | Autumn, 1069: Yeah I rest my case. |
13 Sep 20 UTC | Autumn, 1069: England, I don’t want to attack you just sail through |
