27 Nov 20 UTC Autumn, 1861: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
10 Dec 20 UTC Autumn, 1864: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
10 Dec 20 UTC Autumn, 1864: GameMaster: Greece voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
11 Dec 20 UTC Spring, 1865: What a great fireworks show. 7 disbands
11 Dec 20 UTC Spring, 1865: I'm thinking this shouldn't take a whole lot longer.
22 Dec 20 UTC Autumn, 1867: GameMaster: Ottomans voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
22 Dec 20 UTC GGs. Sorry Serbia about that stab, but it's not very often that I get to try for a solo. Very good resistance from the rest though.
22 Dec 20 UTC Fun game. Well played by Austria to nearly blitzkrieg the rest of us. I think Ottomans and I were eyeing one another warily the entire time but we stuck together when it was necessary.
22 Dec 20 UTC *sigh* -100 points in two days.
22 Dec 20 UTC I'm a little surprised that the Austrian didn't at least roll his armies forward for a bit to probe the possiblity of a fissure at Pleven & Bucarest. Well played to all the partners in the draw. My first go around (I think) with this variant, and feel Greece is underpowered with no uncontested centers to gain in the first year, compared to everyone else on the map.
22 Dec 20 UTC To a degree, the same can be said of Romania. If Bulgaria is hostile, it's game over unless Romania can pull an ally in to help.
22 Dec 20 UTC My first game on this map as well -- I agree that Greece seems like a bad draw. Romania/Bulgaria/Ottoman seems like it's an inevitable 2-v-1, and for a long time I thought I was the odd man out here. Managed to flip it only because Austria intervened to help me out. Could have just as easily been Romania as the third member of the draw.
22 Dec 20 UTC GG. I was hoping for a three way draw with Ottomans and Austria, but being the middle country didn’t work out so well
22 Dec 20 UTC GG everyone. In this game, more so than some others, I'm really guilty of being indecisive or changing my mind. Also I know partnering up with those opposite leads to a stalemate in the middle, so I was testing out something different with Bulgaria and finding fault with Romania's strategy early on. I'll probably play again in mid January or February.
